Today we remember a great American,  Dr. Martin Luther King,  Jr.  Forty-four years after his assassination, his words continue to have a lasting and relevant impact on our lives.  May we continue to strive to achieve the principles and tenants of the dream he so vividly described.

We are back with more information on Erica and John’s beautiful fall 2011 wedding at Reunion Resort.  The ceremony was set in Reunion’s outdoor event tent overlooking the golf course.  Erica and John’s Jewish ceremony took place under a gorgeous coastal inspired chuppah created by Lee Forrest of Lee Forrest Design.  The ceremony led by the Rabbi was one of the most heartfelt and personal ceremonies I’ve witnessed. From there, our team directed the guests to the resort lobby bar to enjoy cocktails. The dinner reception took place in the Reunion Grande Ballroom. Here the rich color palette was carried out through the table linens, romantic centerpieces featuring coastal elements such as bleached starfish and coral, and uplighting provided by Les Kopasz of Soundwave Entertainment, who also provided dj services.

There are so many great photo locations at Reunion on the resort grounds including the  rooftoop terrace at Eleven and the grand lobby fountain pictured in the images above.

Erica and John were recently married at Reunion Resort.  Uniquely Yours had the pleasure of bringing together all the details and coordinating both the ceremony and reception for this very special couple.  The super talented Jason and Sara Martin of Concept Photography were on hand to capture all the emotion of the day. Erica and John opted for a “first look” creative session prior to the wedding which took place on the Reunion golf course under a most majestic oak tree.  I think you’ll agree the images are stunning.

The First Look – Love the sunlight through the trees

Inspired by the location of her engagement – east coast Florida – Erica desired to create a look that included subtle coastal motifs.  Her colors were orange and purple.  These colors are usually not immediately associated with coastal elements, but with the emphasis on subtlety, we were able to bring it all together with style.

Vintage Confections offers a variety of unique lollipop designs and custom candies. The lollipops are my favorite, and I see using them in guest amenity bags, candy/dessert displays, or as a special gift for a sweet someone.

We were thrilled to have a recent feature on Every Last Detail!  The Uniquely Yours team collaborated with Chad Pilster of Pilster Photography to create a unique, Spanish styled inspirational photo shoot.  The backdrop of this beautiful shoot was none other than Ceviche Tapas Bar and Restaurant in downtown Orlando.  The rich golds and reds of the venue inspired our color palette which resulted in a romantic design featuring beautiful, rich linens and an abundance of candlelight. Our goal was to tell a story through the shoot – lovely lady falls in love with mysterious stranger – which allowed us to create a variety of scenes throughout the venue.
