Back in September, we shared some of our favorite registry items for fall dining and entertaining. As promised then, we bring you “Seasonal Entertaining In Style” – The Holiday Edition. We cannot emphasize enough the importance of a well-rounded wedding registry. By giving careful consideration and thought to the items you select and how you will use them, your registry will consist of quality, classic items that will bring you years of enjoyment. Most of us enjoy entertaining during the holiday season, so when selecting items for your registry choose items that can serve you well year round as well as a few holiday specific items that you’ll treasure. Here are some favorite items the Uniquely Yours planning team recommends to make your registry winter holiday friendly.
Macy’s
A classic china pattern will serve you well for fine dining throughout the year.
Ralph Lauren Silk Ribbon Pearl
But casual holiday get togethers call for festive and fun holiday dinnerware.
Martha Stewart Holiday Garden Collection
This bar set is not decked out in holiday prints, but the patterns are certainly appropriate for any festive occasion.
Mikasa Clear Cheers Collection
For those who covet traditional Christmas decor items but with a modern artistic twist, we recommend this beautiful nativity.
Williams Sonoma
Nothing says home for the holidays quite like holiday candlelight – everywhere. We love glass hurricanes which can also be used to hold holiday baubles, festive red berries, flowers or greenery.
And for the baker in all of us, you will need some essentials for putting out holiday cookies, pies, and cakes.
Everyone’s favorite mixer is a must have. We love the cheery red color.
And then there are all kinds of tools for creative pastry creations: flour sifter, mechanical pastry bag, and pastry blender.
We also like this personal embosser for putting your mark on all your holiday correspondence or for creating gift tags.
Bloomingdales
We adore these shiny and unique Menorahs for celebrating Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights.
These beautiful crystal flutes are perfect for holiday dinner parties from Thanksgiving through Christmas.
Waterford Twelve Days of Christmas Flutes Collection
Crate and Barrel
Remember what we said about candles everywhere?
These colorful pieces are perfect for displaying and enjoying your holiday goodies.
Laurie Small Plate and Footed Bowl
These festive tools will bring back fond memories of baking in the kitchen with loved ones.
Tiffany
You will treasure the opportunity to bring out your finest silver service for special holiday occasions.
Neiman Marcus
Toast the New Year with these festive flutes.
Monogrammed cocktail napkins are always a stylish touch.
Pottery Barn
All that glitters is not gold, but these beautiful mercury glass candle holders and vases will certainly bring vintage glimmer to your mantle or tablescape.
Department 56
Start a tradition and build a collection with one of the many Department 56 holiday villages available. Our favorites include Christmas in the City and the North Pole Village.
Radio City Music Hall from Christmas in the City
North Pole Palace from North Pole Series
What holiday items are you thinking of adding to your registry?
Happy Holidays!
Ohh, I love the festive barware from Macy’s and the cute cake stand from Crate and Barrel! I’m definitely adding those to my wedding registry on myregistry.com right away! I also really like the flatware from Tiffany but I’m guessing it may be a little out of my guests’ price range! Great list though!
Thanks for the comments Candace. The cake stand really is adorable! Glad you enjoyed the selections. Best wishes for a wonderful holiday season, and congratulations on your engagement!
